About the 8 PM Nagaland Draw
The 8 PM Lottery Sambad draw is officially run by the Nagaland State Lottery Directorate under the state Finance Department. It has been running since 1972 and is 100% legal under the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998. Each day of the week has a different draw name — Friday’s draw is called Dear Victory Evening, Saturday is Dear Vision Evening, and so on. The draw name changes but the prize structure stays the same every night.
Tickets cost ₹7 each and can be bought from any licensed lottery seller in Nagaland, West Bengal, Sikkim, Mizoram, or Goa — the five states where Lottery Sambad is legally sold.
If Your Number Matched — What to Do Next
Sign the back of your ticket right now before you do anything else. An unsigned ticket has no legal protection. For prizes up to ₹10,000, visit your nearest lottery agent with your ticket and a valid ID. For the 1st prize of ₹1 crore, you must visit the Nagaland State Lottery Directorate in Kohima directly, in person. All prizes above ₹10,000 have 30% TDS deducted at source under Section 194B — so a ₹1 crore win pays out approximately ₹70 lakhs after tax. You have 30 days from today’s draw date to claim. After that, the prize is cancelled permanently.
